You know - the lifestyle we live has everything to do with whether we get sick or stay well - and are able to avoid cancer. I have seen so many incredible healings in my life at alternative cancer clinics - it also has to do with how we think and where our attention is.

Isn't chemotherapy as bad as the cancer cells? It does a good job to get rid of the bad cells, but is also does a good job killing all the good cells as well. I wish there were a better alternative.

Meat is still meat, it doesn't matter if it's organic or not. If you eat too much of it, it's a matter of time before you see the negative effect.

I've lost a dear kid cousin to cancer. It was unbelievable that she's had it because there weren't many signs that raised any serious concern. When she was hospitalized, it was found that it's almost too late to do anything. A month later, she died. I thought that if she only had the chance to get chemo, she may have a fighting chance; she was a strong kid. It makes me think that maybe there really is a reason to worry about the stuff we put into our mouths. Though I don't have the courage and discipline to be like Cary who can go vegan, maybe I can start taking tabs of what I eat and try to consume everything in moderation.

Great video, by the way. Thanks!

Hi Sarah - you know, I've been a vegetarian for about forty years (wow!) vegan/ vegetarian / all raw. I had times when I moved to the mountains when I even craved red meat now and then and would have a piece of buffalo or elk. It was good and felt good at the time, but also let me realize it was always my choice. There is a spiritual part inside of me that doesn't like to have to kill an animal to eat.
Today I'm mostly vegetarian and will have an occasional few bites of fish - maybe 4x/ year. I also eat homegrown eggs and occasional organic cheese. All that being said - I just want to make the point that I am not rigid or extreme.
I think we all have to start where we are and grow in a way we're comfortable. Your commitment to organic meat is laudable - as it costs more and is not always easy to find. Those animals were hopefully grown with kindness and lived relatively stress-free lives which contributes to the meat containing less chemicals produced from fear. It also means they have not been fed hormones to fatten them up - which contribute over estrogen production in us (as I'm sure you know - a cancer pre-cursor).
Beyond the above 2 issues the key is to be able to keep your body in an alkaline balance. There are many factors to this. Yes, meat does leave an "acid" ash when it burns in our body, however the kind you are eating will be less acid than others. Keeping your quantities small will also help.
Also having good amounts of fresh fruits and veggies will help, and tea instead of coffee or coke.
The best alkalizing agent I've found in many years is Aqualyte - tiny packets you add to your water that really does the trick! Find link on left side of my home page that takes you here. I have literally seen this one simple thing perform miracles.
You can pick up pH paper and check your urine and saliva to see how you're doing. We should be somewhere in the range of 6.8-7.2 (people will differ on this but it's a good range).
Alkalizing the body is essential to avoiding cancer and other degenerative illness. It's not so much whether you eat organic meat, but the total balance of your life and body care.
Keep me posted on your journey!

Hi Sarah - thanks so much for your words of wisdom. Yes, I know, I watched my dad go through radiation and chemo and die of cancer at the young age of 60 (and really a very vital man at that time), it was very sad. I've learned we must allow everyone their own choices based on their faith in traditional or natural routes. For those who are excited to pursue natural routes of healing I give three cheers, and the work of my life is to make tools and information easy and available to those searching!!!

And by the way, I used to be an oncology nurse, and I know that chemotherapy does not work or radiation. If the cancer patient survives these brutal attacks, it is their own determined will and commitment to life.
