Breathe Deep

It is said that cool, fresh air is the best for us. I love the days coming into fall. Night air is sweet and cool. Time to breathe deep and enjoy!

We can live only minutes without air, and in light of this it’s amazing how shallow most breathing is. Ancient yogic teachings revolve around the breath.

Give this exercise a place in your daily routine:
Lift shoulders and spine as if someone was suspending you from the top of your head comfortably. Allow the lower abdomen to relax and expand as you breathe in fully. Pause before you gently exhale. Repeat.

Brain body and spirit will thank you for mindful deep breathing!
