How Vital is your Immune System?
How about those times when “everyone” is falling like flies around us, from the sneezy, sniffly, headachey cold or nasty flu-bug going around - do you dread you’ll get it, or just figure it’s inevitable?
Or maybe you’re one of those rare souls who doesn’t get sick no matter what. However healthy our our natural immune system, it can always use extra protective support in a day when H1N1 pandemics and other strange illnesses are finding their way around our globe at an amazing rate. Here are my four favorite keys to super immunity:
1. Body Ecology and the Immune System
We often think of ecology in relationship to the earth – keeping nature healthy for the survival of all living things, but did you know we also have a body ecology? The environment within our body determines the quality of cellular function, activity of nerves and hormones, and even brain-power. This internal condition or body ecology plays a major role in the function of our immune system and has much to do with how well we fight colds and flu when they come along.

Just like the land is polluted with blowing trash, plastic bags and junkyards, over many years of poor eating, exercise and thinking habits our body can become overloaded with waste products that should have been eliminated long ago.
