Rice Vegetable Soup Recipe for Immune System Support

Rice is one of those great foods, again, gentle on the body, ancient seed of the eastern world…simple sustenance with vegetables and herbs – nourishing and light on the body…hey, let me know your thoughts in a comment below!
Put in 6 quart soup pot and bring to simmer:
4 quarts Water
1 ½ cups Organic Brown Rice
1 large can diced Tomatoes w/ juice (or fresh if you have them!)
2 large Carrots, diced
Add Super Immunity ingredients:
1 large Onion, peeled, diced
4 cloves Garlic, peeled, diced
2-3 large chunks Ginger root (remove after cooking)
2 heaping Tablespoons Oregano
1 heaping teaspoon Curry powder
1 teaspoon Cumin
½ teaspoon Green and/or Red Chili powder
1 teaspoon crushed Red Chili
Simmer for at least 1 hour. The rice will thicken up the soup pot and will absorb a lot of water, so add additional water if needed to keep nice amount of broth in the pot.
When done cooking, turn off heat.
Remove chunks of ginger if you wish.
Then stir in:
2 bunches fresh, organic Spinach, wash well, chop a little
1 bunch fresh organic Parsley
1-2 T natural, organic Soy Sauce
2-3 T cold pressed, virgin Olive Oil
Stir well and taste. Yum! Serve with salad or fresh carrot juice.
